Paul presumably killed his father in order to protect the Woman he loved,

But it seems that James faked his own death,leaving his son in guilt .

Paul went away from Oakdale en returned years later as a succesful bussiness man, but when the actor ho played the part at that time appeared nFor me there's only one Paul and that's Andy Kavovit, and i still hope he will return to ATWT one day !!ot as populair as the "old" Paul he (Paul) was shipped off to Europe.
